Limited timber cutting license ( Burutha, Milla, Halmilla, Kaluwara, Kalumadiriya, Palu, Kohomba, Mee, Velan, Hulanhik, Gammalu, Suriyamara, Kumbuk, Panakka )

1. Completed application for limited timber cutting [PDF Obtaining-Tree-Cutting-License]
2. A copy of the deed certified by the Grama Niladari 
3. In case the applicant does not own the land, the consent letter of the land owner certified by the Grama Nildhari
4. Affidavit taken to prove that there is no objection to the issuance of a permit to rent to the applicant when there are several heirs
5. If a new construction is expected to throw down trees, an appropriate construction plan
6. Letters of the pradeshiya Sabhas / Urban Councils if they are being scattered due to dangers
7. If court verdicts regarding the land are relevant, court orders regarding them
8. Notice of correspondence in case of power line disturbance or protest
9. If the tree is located on the fence, the approximate (bare) land is owned by the owner. The owner is not opposed to cut the tree

Timber cutting licenses (Jack trees / Palm trees / Female Palmyra)

1. Completed application for limited timber cutting (Application)
2. A copy of the deed certified by the Grama Niladari 
3. Where the noticeable owner of the land is certified by the Grama Niladari when the applicant is not aware of the clear title of the land
4. Affidavit taken to prove that there is no objection to the issuance of a permit to rent to the applicant when there are several heirs
5. Letters of the pradeshiya Sabhas / Urban Councils if they are being scattered due to dangers
6. If court verdicts regarding the land are relevant, court orders regarding them
7. Notice of correspondence in case of power line disturbance or protest

7. Invoices for timber, cracked timber or timber goods

Extension of timber cutting / Timber transportation period

1. The initial police complaint
2. Original copy of the license
3. Gratitude report on non-transportation

Issuing license to open new pawning centers

• Grama Niladhari report
• Report of Superintendent of Police
• Original Certificate of Incorporation of the Company and another copy
• Affidavit of non-compliance with law and order
• Original copy of insurance certificate covering bribery and burglary allegation and another copy
• A joint venture partnership
• Copy of the tax deed
• License fee - Rs. 1000.00
• Deposit - Rs. 100000.00
• Registration Charge - Rs.25000.00

Issuing animal transportation licenses

• Completed application
• Recommendation of Grama Niladari
• Veterinary certificate (Health certification of animals)
• Cattle goat vouchers
• Recommendation of the vehicle used for the transport of animals
• Receipt for payment of Rs. 50.00 per animal to the Divisional Secretariat
• Farm registration certificate

Recommendation for gun permits

• Completed application
• Recommendation of Grama Niladari
• Recommendation of officer in charge of police station

Issuing sand, gravel, soil excavation and transport permits for commercial and non-commercial purposes

• Completed application
• Copy of deed
• Copy of the plan (optional)
• If the applicant is not the land owner, affidavit or consent letter from the landlord
• Mineral transport vehicle or vehicle numbers and letter from the owner
• Housing plan for filling a house cess (Grama Niladhari certified)

Issuing vehicle revenue license

• Vehicle Registration Certificate / Copy of the Certified Registration Certificate issued by the institution for leasing or finance
• Insurance Certificate
• Eco test report
• Carbon tax receipt
• Fitness certificate (for lorries and buses)
• Passenger Transport Authority License and Photocopy of Passenger Transport Buses

Recovery of lost revenue license

• Copy of the police complaint
• Vehicle Registration Certificate
• Insurance Certificate
• Amount for the relevant superannuation period

Issuing a temporary revenue license

• Temporary revenue licenses are issued only for vehicles that cannot obtain the Emission Test Certificate due to engine repairs
• Letter in the garage where the engine was repaired
• Bill and receipt of parts purchased for repair of the engine
